Q THE EQ

Q the EQ is a ultra-high headroom 3 band active equalizer based on a novel principle.  Instead of centering on common EQ frequencies,  Q uses the note C in 3 different octaves as its frequency centers, ensuring a very musical curve.  Q utilizes the same voltage tripling circuitry as the Edison Preamp, which means it can be used after your loudest pedal (even the Edison Preamp) without overloading, and can deliver the massive bass the pedal is prized for.

 

We've offered this circuit in all of our distortion pedals, as a stand alone wah-style pedal, and as an "always-on" module, but this is the first time it is available as a stand alone switchable pedal.  Labels are unnecessary as the layout is simple; The large knob is bass, the mid sized knob mids, and the smallest for treble.  Q runs on standard 9v center negative voltage.  Do not use higher voltages.
